Hello,
I bought a new motherboard and i want to connect the cases USB 3.0 on it.
The problem is the pins on the motherboard are missing, the slot for where the pins would usually be is there (even labeled USB 3.0).
My question is, if theres any possible way to buy and install the missing connector on directly on the motherboard?
I know my second option is to just buy the card for extra USB slots on the back, but i would really like to make the front USB 3.0 work.

Thanks for any help.

It would mean as said that the motherboard infact does not have a chipset that supports usb 3.0 specification ports.
And why the pins and the socket are missing on the motherboard it`s self.

Even if the case does have two USB 3.0 spec ports.
There may be a slightly different model number of the motherboard that does come with the pins to support connection of usb 3.0 specification ports.

I have no doubt this is probably the case if you care to look.

Your only solution depending on what the pin arrangement from the case for the usb 3.0 ports on there.
Is to buy a Pci-e based usb 3.0 adapter card to fit in a pci-e x4 or x1 slot of the motherboard.

Then if the cables are long enough from the two usb 3.0 ports on the case is to attach...

As I suspected same board slightly different chipset used, practically the same board layout, only on this model number of board you have the USB 3.0 pins and connector block. Minus the extra memory slots.
