So I recently moved into an apartment with internet included in the rent, the problem is the wi-fi signal is too weak down here, I'm barely even able to connect to it and as a gamer I need something better. I've talked with my landlord and he is willing to lay a cable down here. I'm just wondering what the best way to do this is? I was thinking of putting my own router down here and connecting it to said cable as I need wi-fi for my other appliances.
