So I've recently built a new PC and was working great for a couple of months or so. Now, a few months ago, I've been getting many problems and one that comes up the most is the BSOD that says machine check exception. At first I thought it was bad peripheral drivers so I tried to delete them but failed so I tried reinstalling Windows. Now I can't even finish the installation. I've tried new RAM, twice, CMOS reset, different hardware configs, formatting drives or even buying a new ssd. Nothing so far has helped. However, after reseating the CPU, I was able to finish installing windows and was working great until I updated drivers. Now nothing works again. If you guys have any questions or answers please post something because having a useless 1000$ PC is not what I plan to have.

Solution
1| Can you please pass on your full systems specs inclusive of your OS and connected peripherals?
2| Have you made sure your BIOS and remaining device drivers(not via Windows' update procedure) are up to date? You're suggested to disable automatic device driver updates, if you're on Windows 10, while on other platforms it's advised to download the drivers from your manufacturers site manually taking note of driver revisions.
3| If the system was running fine since initial build, it may or may not be bad ram. You could try and run memtest86 for at least 10 passes and see if any errors come up.

We may need to verify further with a dump file study but for now, see if you can get back to us with the above.
