I always gamed on my laptop and recently decided to upgrade to a PC. My house is equip with solar panels, and I get power cut off sometimes in my house, I would always go to college and leave my laptop in sleep and if there was a power cut of it wouldn't be such a deal because "obviously" it has battery but is it healthy for PC? I do leave it in sleep just because I have so much stuff on my PC, it takes forever for it to turn on, I didn't really have any issues and if there was a power cut off, I would normally select "resume windows" but litterly 10 minutes ago, there was a power cut off and as soon I pressed that power button the PC turned on and it started making beeping noise and there was underscore on the screen blinking and I pressed Enter and the beeping stopped and the underscore disappeared after 3 seconds and I had black screen for 10 seconds "leds and fans were running all the time" and then he monitor displayed "no signal" for 30 seconds and then it came up that the resume windows couldn't be find and I had the option to try again or go to boot menu so I selected try again and it resumed to windows, I got really worried about this.

Solution
Sleep saves everything when going to it and turns most power off, only taking battery out or it going flat could make difference. You may have some other problem with sleep during wake up.
