Ram Upgrade Help...

I'm going to upgrade my ram. I want to get 32gb DDR4 (4X8GB) for my new computer. The mother board is IPM17-TP. The processor is i7-6700K quad core. Can you please help? Current ram is 2133 DIMM. Can I go faster?

I can only find conflicting information about this board, with a page on HP's website saying it doesn't even support the 6700k (???). It looks like HP didn't use a board from the mainstream OEMs (e.g. Asus, Gigabyte), so your best bet for reliable information would be contacting HP's customer support.

Yes, it is HP envy phoenix desktop. When I purchased this I was told I could upgrade to 32gb ram

I think I have the same problem as you and since no response for a month im wondering how you made out. I just gutted my computer that just broke and threw it into my envy (only 12gb ram version). It took my hardrive hooked up with no problem but ram did not fit. Anyways sorry no answer but just wanna know how u made out.
