this has only started yesterday and I had to switch to the Intel integrated graphics to access my PC, and as such I can not watch my movies without unbearable judder and frame drops, or play most of my games.
If I have no drivers installed at all the 970 displays to the monitor, but looks like safe mode. as soon as I install drivers and reboot, as soon as I get to the windows login screen my monitor just says "DVI no Signal" on a black screen and when I use my HDMI I get "HDMI no Signal" on a blue screen. (On my ASUS VG278 Monitor)
Multiple restarts do not get this resolved and I have no idea what is going on. My GPU (with drivers on) displays right up to the windows login screen and the signal then gets cut. the Video card is less than a year old and I am not sure if there is a problem with the card, the motherboard's 16x PCIe slot or if it is windows.
I am waiting for a friend to bring my old GTX760 to swap and try to see if I get the same issue, if so then the issue will be narrowed down to either the mobo's PCIe slot or Windows.
I tried just installing the base display driver and the full package (3D Vis, PhysX, GFE). After restart, and just a microsecond before the windows login screen starts the signal instantly goes on both DVI (Dual Link) and HDMI.
Please assist! I am missing playing Dark Souls III and Fallout 4!!!!!
