ok so i have recently built this rig for gaming. I have a mild overclock 4400mhz 1.34v and seems stable so far running P95 my temps are being a bit unruly under load though. at idle they seem ok at 14-16c on core, and 33-35c at socket. after about 10 minutes running P95 the temps are 52 c core and 75 c socket..

I have lots of airflow in my chassis. 1-160mm intake side mount, 1-140mm intake front, 1-90mm intake front, 140mm exhaust top rear, 1 90 exhaust top right above my heat sink adding a push/pull configuration kinda... heat sink is an 212 evo single 120m push fan. should my temps be getting that high on socket? any ideas or suggestions?

the processor is an AMD FX 8350. as far as monitoring programs i am using HWMonitor as well as Speed fan 4.51 and CPU-Z. I would think that with the airflow and cooling in my case i could OC to atleast 4.5ghz and stabilize easy. .. maybe if I use AMD OverDrive it will help me get the OC pinned right where i need it. do you recommend I use OverDriver vs. 3rd party programs for load testing? as OverDrive is an AMD Utility. AMD Program/AMD CPU?

Thank you for your info CountMike. after downloading and installing OD and using it as reference I was successfully able to get temps down into the safe zone, and run a successful 1 hr stress test. With core temps maxing at 53c on core, and 70c on socket. :. 4.4ghz on 1.385v
