I'm currently trying to segment my network as I work from home and would like to separate the work network traffic from my personal (Isolate) My goal is to have 6 VLANS 3 for my home network Server traffic 2 for my Cloud storage servers and 1 for my work related traffic.Current HW AT&T Gateway/Modem>D-link Gig Switch (Vlan support) additional netgear switch no VLAN support.
The issue I'm running is although I'm able to create the VLANS I'm unable to assign IP's to it since I do have a DHCP server other than what the AT&T gateway is providing. Is there a way I can accomplish the above without having to setup a dhcp server or add another router?
Thanks

The only way to do it without a router is to use one subnet across the VLANs. This is not very good practice though. You really need either a layer 3 switch or a router. My recommendation, if you want to segment your network with VLANs, is to get something like the Ubiquiti Edgerouter Lite. Its pretty inexpensive and can do what you want. If you had on old PC you could run something like pfSense or Untangle and that would also work well.
