My system specs:
Mobo: Asus h81i-plus (mitx)
Cpu: Intel i3-4160
Psu: CX430
Case: Bitfenix prodigy m
Ram:HyperX Fury Red Series 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3 SDRAM 1866
HDD: 1 TB WD black caviar.
I had the mobo, case, and ram left over from a system I built 3 years ago (sadly gone now) and decided use it for a new build.So I bought a new psu and cpu.
The problem: I turn on the pc and
- Keyboard and mouse don't work in any usb slot but I can charge my phone with a USB.
- Monitor is unresponsive saying that there is no signal coming from the pc.
Note:
- When I turn on the pc the cpu fans take 3 seconds to start spinning but when it does start it spins really fast for about 3 seconds and then goes to normal speed.
- when I plug in a USB flash drive it lights up for a split second and then quickly goes dark.
I would really appreciate it if anyone could help me out with this.
