I am waiting for the GTX 1080 to be released in June. When it is (~$625) I will build my gaming PC. Will the 1080 probably be enough for 1440p gaming? How is the build in all? Thanks! (One more thing: How much should I oc my i5 with that cooler?)

Solution
I'm hoping the 1080 or whatever it's called will be inline or slightly better than the 980Ti but only time will tell. Id expect a plan for a 1080Ti about a year to 18 months later and that to be the one with a big jump over the 980Ti. If correct the 1080 should be ideal for 1440p and 144Hz. Just manage your expectations on delivery, history shows it can take many weeks for stock to hit the shelves so I expect you won't get one until July. I'd also expect prices to be higher than the current 980Ti price. The 1080 will be the new flagship model with high demand and limited supply, it may take a few months for decent price drops
