Hello,

Im here to wall of text you guys with some questions, and see if i cant get a few good answers.

Heres the specs first, then the problem:

Specs:
AMD Radeon A8-7640m
8 Gig ram (1 stick/DDR3)
240 GB SSD
Quad Core CPU

Benchmarks-CPU-Z:
BEFORE Hardware Changes
620
single thread
1600
multithread

AFTER hardware changes:
600
single thread
1400
multithread

Heres the problem, yesterday i bought a single 8 gig DDR3 Ram stick to replace my 2 gig and 4 gig (full 6 gig) ddr3 ram setup (cant remember the voltage) the new one is running at 1.5 volts for all cores, and clocks at 800.
I also bought a SSD 240 Gig PNY and installed that as well

Playing csgo, i was getting around 90 frames steady per second on Dust 2 (if you dont know what dust two is....LOL)

after the hardware updates, Im lucky to get a steady FPS at all. I get between 47-74, depending where in the map i stand.
the only things i have changed:

The SSD
The Ram Stick/sticks
and instead of Catalyst Control Center, im now using Beta AMD Crimson

what is causing the slowdown??? is it the RAM? should i reinstall my other sticks?
or do you think its possible to put another one of the other sticks in, if its running at 1.5 volts?

please help, this is hurting my gaming, and my head

the easiest thing to do is to put the old RAM back in and try again with the new SSD. Then try swapping the ram for the new stick and try again with the old HDD. you should be able to see what the problem is. please post the specs of all 3 RAM sticks. and the HDD and the SSD.

ok i will test these things right now, first the RAM!

Ok tested with ram, fps jumped up 20 (outside of games...)

Normally in menus it was 120 before, and then in game it would drop to 70-90

now its 90 in menu, and idk in game, ill test in game right now
it was 54 nearly the whole game :(
