hello.i have 2 questions.1.if i install windows on ssd, will it affect on ssds lifespan every time i will boot up pc?or only while installing it.2.i want to write game to test how fast it will run.so after testing i want to remove ssd back.will i have to format it before i remove it or it will be ok to save it with game installed?

Solution
Yes both writes, and power off off-times are significant considerations. But SSD longevity is improving all the time ...just read an article on this yesterday but was unable to re-locate it. date retention after power off cycles can be risked after as little as 7 days. Some refernces

But in the end, like moderate CPU overclocking, the time it takes to kill a SSD (or CPU) far exceeds its useful life.
It's write operations that reduce the lifespan on SSDs, therefore it's only the install process that shortens the life. Also, how long something is stored on an SDD has no effect on its lifespan, therefore it doesn't matter whether you clean it before storage or just store it with all your stuff on it.
