Which display cable do I need for my gtx 970? I have a 22 inch Vizio smart TV. I currently have a rgb cable but the gpu doesn't have a slot for it.

I'm guessing you have a 1366x768 screen?
That's pretty OVERKILL for gaming (GTX970 at 768p). If this is being used for the DESKTOP I suggest getting a better monitor at some point. Too many options to recommend one.
Update:
If it matters, you can buy HDMI switches at Monoprice or other to toggle HDMI inputs.
