So I went to access my desktop and it showed that there was no internet via the red X on the Internet connection status. I tried connecting to a dofferent port on my router.. Didn't work.. I checked to see if it was the cable so I disable wifi on my laptop and tried running internet on it and it was working just fine.. Just can't access the Internet on my desktop. And this happened overnight! Last night I was working fine on it! Please help! It's finals week for me and I'm already stressed as is!!

Did you try simply rebooting the computer? Are there link lights on the network jack? Are there any errors on the network adapters in Device Manager? Try running the driver setup for the network card? Reboot the router?
