I just ordered an i5 4690k on ebay for 205$, and saw it as a steal and am wondering if there is a good budget Z97 motherboard that will be good for mid overclocking, i'm planning on upgrading my current build which has:
i5 650 (LGA 1156)
8gb ddr3 1333MHZ ram (not high quality)
1TB Seagate hard drive
XFX HD 7750
Evga 850W G2
and a good atx case,
i was thinking of going for an i3 6100 with ddr4 ram and a 80$ mobo, saw that it would only cost a few more if i got the i5 4690k since i dont need to buy new ram. So, any suggestions?

Could you find me one on amazon? thanks for the recommendation. I was considering a Asrock Extreme 4 for 120$, as it had good review.

Yes, Gigabyte makes excellent boards. Asus, Gigabyte, Asrock are generally the top 3.

It Really depends what your budget is and your preferences for brands, I personally like Msi over the rest but you'll pay premium price for that brand. For a budget build you wanne be looking into ASrock or gigabyte boards (also took Asrock in my first budget build)

For boards around 80€ i would go for one of these
1. ASRock Z97 Anniversary
2. Gigabyte GA-Z97P-D3
3. Asus Z97-P

And if you decide to trow a litte more in it.. ( Over 100€ )
1. Asus Z97-PRO GAMER
2. Gigabyte GA-Z97X-Gaming 3
3. ASRock Fatal1ty Z97 Killer

Prices may be diffrent in your country, I would go for a little more when it comes to boards so you can have a little more headroom when you want to upgrade and have it a bit future proof.
