I'm looking to build a gaming desktop to replace (and substantially outperform) my current Lenovo Y50-70 laptop, which has been hampered by poor performance and crap quality components. I've seen people list PC picker in these types of threads, but I'm not too familiar with the gpu's, cpu's, bottleneck issues, etc that go into building these things so I don't feel comfortable making my own build. Can someone help me come up with something that will allow me to play modern games at high settings?
- budget is flexible, but would prefer to spend less than $1K
- no 4k gaming
- play a lot of insurgency, but would like to play future releases, RTS, etc
If somebody can help me out, I'll answer any questions
