3 days ago now I was playing games on my pc, about 30 minutes after, sitting idle mind you, it just powered off. At first I thought the power went out but no, just the tower. The only indicator I have to go on is the light by the PWR_LED is blinking every few seconds. It was plugged into the wall to begin with but I tried several other plug-ins too. So after some googling I thought it was the PSU so I ordered another one. Plug it in, nothing. I unplug everything until its just the Mobo, PSU, Cpu, Cpu fan and Ram, still nothing. And that light is still blinking away. I've also tried pressing the power button on the board but nothing. I'm waiting for a response back from asus at this point but maybe one of you have an idea. I was using the old PSU for over a month and the rest of the build for about 3 months I believe.

Perhaps you didn't apply thermal paste properly and/or something contaminated the application. Try removing CPU and cleaning both the CPU and the cooler with rubbing alcohol (because it evaporates faster than water) and reapply thermal paste. I recommend using Artic Silver 5 and following the application guide here

Huh?
He was GAMING fine, then it crashed in IDLE. How could that possibly be a thermal paste issue.
