Hey all,

I recently built a pc using a Supermicro x10dax motherboard.

I purchased the Gigabyte wifi adapter to get internet so I no longer need to use my tplink wifi usb.

After installing the board into a pci-e slot, I booted and installed the drivers and rebooted.

The device manager only acknowledges two Bluetooth devices and no wifi from my card.

I tried installing the updated chipset and all my drivers on my computer, and using different slots.

Nothing in the bios seemed to be related to my issue.

Any help would be greatly appreciated, thanks!

1| Although you've mentioned the motherboard and the wireless adapter card, you've forgotten to mention the OS and remaining components in your culprit system. Please state them
2| Have you tried using the drivers found off Gigabyte's site? I assumed you're running Windows 10...
3| Have you made sure your BIOS is up to date?
4| On the other hand, did you uninstall your drivers for the Tp-Link adapter?

Hi Lutfij

1. I am using: Windows 7 Ultimate 64bit | dual xeon processors | 16x2gb Samsung ram | Logitech k360 wireless keyboard | wired razer deathadder mouse | asus mx270 monitor | NVidia quadro k620 gpu | 240 gb ssd

2. I have tried the drivers from intel as well as the Gigabytes website. I have not tried the ones from the accompanying cd rom as I do not yet have a cd drive.

3. As everything else I have tried connecting to the mobo works flawlessly including all pci ports I do not wish to attempt to update bios as to risk bricking it.

4. Yes I have tried uninstalling the tp-link adapter driver, rebooting, installing intel/gigabytes drivers, rebooting, and nothing.

Like I mentioned previously the Bluetooth does work which indicates to me the pci slot works fine (most other people have issues getting Bluetooth working with this card but can achieve wifi)
