reinstalling Windows after wiping a drive

After wiping a hard drive we want to reinstall Windows, how do we do this? Do we call the laptop manufacturer and ask for a copy of the installation CD? Do we have to buy a new installation?

Hi there Lissette_1,

Yeah, in case you don't have the OS CD, you will need to contact the laptop manufacturer. You don't need to buy a new one.

When you contact the manufacturer, be sure you get all the drivers you'll need after doing the install if they don't happen to be included with the CD you get.
