Hello,

I've seen this cool > monitor < out there. I was just wondering, would it work perfectly with an AMD GPU even if it is named "nvidia gaming monitor" ? (r390x for example)

Anyway, any opinions about predator 34"? Is it worth it? will it be a good choise a bit later when prices fall down by some %%?

Solution
AMD would be useless in using the Gsync feature, which significantly reduces screen tearing as it mentioned by synchronizing your refresh rate. If you have an AMD card you would benefit from having AMDs version of Gsync, which is called Freesync. There are plenty of monitors out there with AMD Freesync software that you can utilize. The Freesync monitors are also a fraction of the price. My friend was running the M278Q which is a Freesync monitor with his 980TI and absolutely loves it regardless the fact that it is meant to be used with an AMD card. For you, I personally wouldnt buy such an expensive monitor that doesnt allow you to utilize its features. Look into a similar monitor with Freesync capabilities.

wow, it says
"NVIDIA G-SYNC is groundbreaking new display technology that delivers the smoothest gaming experience ever. G-SYNC’s revolutionary smoothness is achieved by synchronizing display refresh rates to the GPU in your GeForce GTX-powered desktop or notebook, eliminating screen tearing and minimizing display stutter and input lag. The result: scenes appear instantly, objects look sharper, and gameplay is super smooth, giving you a stunning visual experience and a serious competitive edge.”

After reading this i thought that AMD would be almost useless, do these benefits really improve gaming experience, anyone? Are there any alternatives?

Thanks for an answer, i've googled some info about gsync/freesync + you proved that my thoughts were correct (after reading), now i understand it. Thanks.
I'm not going to buy that, just saw it as an interesting option (curved screen for gaming looks wtf and cool at the same time). In a future, in a few years i will definitely get something like this.
