Gigabyte X99-UD4 not Booting After Installing More RAM

Computer Specifications:

Gigabyte X99-UD4 Motherboard
Core i7-5820k CPU
Gigabyte GTX 970 SLI

The motherboard has 8 RAM slots. Previously I had 16GB of RAM installed, 4x4GB. I installed another 4x4GB, and after doing so, the PC fails to boot. The fans start, but there is no POST, and the PC is stuck in a boot loop.

I have tested the new RAM by removing the old 4x4GB sticks and replacing them with the new 4x4GB stick. The PC boots and operates fine, meaning the 4 NEW RAM sticks are not faulty.

I purchased the EXACT SAME RAM as before. Crucial DDR4 4GB RAM, same speed and voltage. All 8 sticks have the same specifications and are the same brand, and all of them work. When I install more than 4 sticks at once, the PC fails to boot.

I have tried setting the speed and voltage manually in the BIOS. I also updated the BIOS to the latest stable version. It still is stuck in a boot loop with more than 4 RAM sticks installed.

Specs can help but don't mean a whole lot, the DRAM that goes in a package has been tested so the stick WILL play nice, I've seen many people buy two of the same exact packages on numerous occasions and they just won't play, there are no guarantees when mixing packages of DRAM. You can pull consecutive sticks right off the assembly line and they might play, might not, that's why they test

The old set I have isn't sold by Crucial anymore. Instead I bought their new set that literally has the exact same specifications :/. I compared them physically and the other physical differences are the labels, the new set has a fancier logo.

Tried resetting CMOS too

Hi,

I am in a similar situation.
I have Corsair 4x8GB RAM installed on x99-ud4 motherboard with i7-5820k 6 core processor.
I have ordered 4 more 8 GB RAMs.
After reading this post, I tried to install the RAMs on the vacant slots but the PC goes into a reboot loop.
When I removed one of the RAM and inserted into the original slot, the PC booted with BIOS showing RAM as 8192 MB.
I have no idea what is going wrong.
Are those slots faulty or is there a BIOS firmware issue?
Please help so that I can cancel the order if there is something wrong.
I am running Windows 10 64 bit.
On CPU-Z, in the SPD column, it shows 8 slots.
Help please.
