My existing setup has:
corsair cx 600 psu
gigabyte 78lmt-usb3 motherboard
amd fx-8320 processor
12 gigs of ram
and 2tb hard disk (1+1)
Sapphire R9 270x Vapour edition

Thinking of replacing the 270x with a 380x.... Will my corsair cx 600 be able to handle a r9 380x?

Solution

Yeah just use it for now and then upgrade it as soon as you can.

Problem is that the Corsair CX600 watt units aren't the best, coming in roughly as a 'Tier 4' grade PSU (avoid unless no other choice). Right now it's holding up to a R9-270X load, putting it under even more load is asking for trouble.

I would upgrade your PSU to at least a Tier 2 unit. The list is here:

Buy accordingly to what fits in your budget. With your system, around a 650w unit would be ideal.

Little low on budget. only managed the cash for the card. And i am from India so i dont think i will get evga psu around here. The only ones available here are Antec, Circle, Cooler Master, Corsair and Seasonic. Will a Corsair VS 650 be a better option than the cx 600? or a Circle 850?

Still fairly low quality, go for a seasonic one with a wattage of 650-750 if you can get that. Seasonic is one of the best OEMs for power supplies.
