Mouse Middle Button doesn't work anymore?

I have a CM Storm Devastator whose mouse has a pretty iffy MMB: sometimes it would stop working completely and it would fix itself by repeated clicking over a period of a few minutes, in which only one click every ten would be recognized..
A couple of hours ago it went completely dead, it hasn't registered a click even once and I dunno what to do.
If I open it up, what should I look for? What could the cause of the problem be? Dust? Needing some oiling?

In the second case is there something I can do to fix it?

Is it still under warranty? If yes, RMA.
If no....2 options:
Buy a new mouse.
or
Disassemble, go into the innards until you find the microswitch. Clean or replace.
Possibly look up a video on how to disassemble.

If I disassemble would that void the warranty?

Thanks, I'll RMA it.
It's actually the first time I do an RMA. I bought this mouse in a mouse+kb bundle along with all the other components of my PC from Amazon, how do I RMA the mouse+kb alone ? With the order number of the whole package, or is there a hidden one concerning the mouse+kb alone?

If its been over 30 days, contact the manufacturer.

Step 1 If it is under warranty then RMA it.
Step 2 If it is not then open it up and simply blow on the button inside. Try it with the housing off for now.
Step 3 If that does not work then use an old worn toothbrush and very lightly run it over the button.

If that does not work then it is beyond my abilities to fix unless you want to resolder a new button on to it.

The buttons are designed for a million clicks or more. I use to use them all the time in things I use to make. But every now and then one would just stop working. A simple mess up is all.

Hope this helps :)
