Like the title says, iw as trying to install overwatch beta on my empty hard drive. it is 500GB, and when i did it said my hard drive failed. I do not see my HDD in disk management, or when I went into diskpart in cmd. I tried running repair in it, but it said it was not compatible with my windows? Is there any cmd command to just re format this disk?

Solution
If windows disk managment isn't seeing it, no CMD line command will do anything. Make sure your bios can see the drive. If it cant, then chances are you have a bad drive. If BIOS can see it, but Windows cant, then try loading up Gparted. You can load it on a USB and boot off it. It should be able to see the drive and you can reformat, parition, etc the drive from there and see if Windows will see it after.
