I have two desktops without wireless cards in a basement. The wireless router is located one floor above in a bedroom.

I have a Linksys WRT310n v1.0.10 that is was replaced with that new router that is stationed in the bedroom.

Is it possible to connect the linksys router to the bedroom router and then connect the desktops via Ethernet cables into the Linksys router so I can get the Internet on them?

What is this technique called?

What I have:
-Two desktops without wireless adapters

-linksys WRT310n router, firmware version 1.0.10

-Modem/wireless router with Internet connection

-plenty of Ethernet cables

- a switch

What I want:

-the two desktops connected to the Internet in this way:
Modem/router > (wirelessly connected to) > linksys WRT310n > (Ethernet cable connected to) > two desktops.

Thanks!
