hello i recently fixed my brothers build (had a dead motherboard and had to do a fresh install of windows 7) after installing drivers and getting programs back on there i was trying to check for windows updates as it sat at checking for updates for at least an hour if not two. i went ahead and while waiting on his to do something tried doing my computer and the same thing seems to be happening with my checking for updates.
i was wondering if there's something that's happening for overall windows 7 users? i just find it odd that it won't move on from checking updates for either of our computers, last time my computer was updated was 1/14/16.
