Just built my high end beast and was wanting a to upgrade my daily driver I was thinking of going completely passive and mod the gpu to be passive to what type of CPU should I look at I know tdp helps but what about higher ghz ones and disabled hyperthread what's the difference in heating of a low mid and high end if all were set to the same speeds and cores will they get the same heat output or would the better CPU clocked down or only use it when it absolutely needs to then have backup fans if I started video encoding but it's not the purpose of it being gaming and encoding was the main for the first build
