Hello,

I'm having a hard time looking for a great compatibility video card for my mobo Gigabyte Z170N-Game5. Basically some programs are for gaming and for work like Auto-cad 2013. Can somebody suggest budget wise to performance wise value video card. Million Thanks for the reply.

Solution
Just get the gaming card you want. AutoCAD uses now DirectX so a gaming card will be fine. A Quadro card will still perform better in a benchmark like Cadalist (personal experience here), but for a beginner (I am assuming mostly 2D CAD) it will make no difference. Some issues might arise from the drivers but I can't tell for sure what.
If you will work seriously in CAD, nvidia Quadro K620 is a very good entry level AutoCAD card and has gaming performance similar with GTX750Ti, and now is only $160 on newegg.
Quadro K1200 is similar but with 4GB memory, and $260 in same place.

Thanks for the reply SoNic67, I personally like Quandro K620. I'm just not sure if it is compatible with Gigabyte Z170N-Gaming5. As of the moment I can't find the compatibility list for my mobo for AutoCAD. But yes, Quadro K620 is a very good entry level AutoCAD card.
