Hey community i just moved to New Zealand (starting from scratch) and really need to get myself back into gaming. I would like to build my own desktop so I was wondering if you guys can recommend a low medium budget build. Not sure if an amd a8 would do or jump into Intel. Thank you all for your time and help

FX/AM3+ is dead. I would not recommend them. AMD is releasing AM4/Zen in october, but it is an entirely new platform. Sadly, it seems skylake is out of reach, so no matter what you will have to settle on older gen platforms, unless you go with a pentium. Not all games will do well with a pentium, but you get upgrade options.

I am having trouble finding you a graphics card, that is actually in stock, and is at least decent. Every time I find one, I get out of stock, or doesn't exist. :(

I can get a amd fx6350 black edition for around 150 dollares and a amd a8350 for around hundred dollars more but I don't know at the moment how are things with Intel and amd. Cheers
