How to properly update my GPU? D:

Heyoooo, i got a Dell Inspiron 7447 and i don't know how to update its gpu without screwing everything up.

So on GeForce experience, it says that there's a new update, but peeps on de forum says dat its not recommended to update with GeForce experience but rather with the site's update files (http://www.dell.com/support/home/bb/en/bbdhs1/product-support/product/inspiron-14-7447-laptop/drivers)

So how do i do this? Thanks!

Most laptops use a proprietary version of a video card requiring specialized drivers to match. You are basically at the mercy of a laptop's manufacturer when it comes to driver releases unless you purchase a high-end machine with a standard quadro or other standard high-end cpu.

You can install a new driver from Nvidia, but there's no guarantee on performance or stability.

I'd say try the new driver, but be ready to boot to safemode and re-install the driver from Dell if necessary.
