I just googled "Cyberpower PC review" and the stuff that came up is pretty mixed, see what you think but if it was me, I wouldn't risk it.

Why don't you teach yourself how to build computers (there's loads of stuff on YouTube) and build it yourself? That's exactly what I did and I'm so glad I did, its so much fun and you feel so good after the computer is built and actually works.

Really comes down to the specific model. Occasionally their part selection isn't bad for a budget machine. Still overpriced though. Occasional shipping mishaps as well.

If you are looking at their pre-assembled PCs for sale, they generally have lower quality components.

Alot of the cyberpower bad reveiws come from shipping issues and people building them and then they get a named brand nice gpu the processor they want name brand memory then they buy the cyberpower branded or default psu that is shit and wonder why they have issues. Cyber power is a store and they will build what you spec out. If you built your own pc and order all the nice parts then also order a <removed> psu who would you blame then. they biild in bulk and do have a warranty if you do the research and spec good reliable parts in the build the only thing you would need to worry about is how ups or fedex would handle it during shipping. As stated above the already built machines have low quality parts so they look food and cheap to buy to people.
If you are moderately confortable building then build your self there are a thousand step by step videos out there to help you a long several on Toms even if you do a little searching. I guess i should use the word crappy. although not as descriptive.

Though I'm not that confident in building my own PC.. I wouldn't rule it out.. I think it's a pretty cool experience.. like building my own hot rod. I'm just scared I'd fry the Processor or such.. Obvious question... Is it generally cheaper to build?

For every $500 or so in parts, boutique builders tack on about $100 over retail. They'll also mark up common parts.

Their advantage is they buy in bulk when it comes to components and OS. So they are actually making a little more on top of that.

On the very low end, this can make it more economical to buy from a retail store and add a discrete GPU. But once you are above $700 or so it makes far more sense to build it yourself.

My current PC is a Cyberpower one. Only probelms I've had thus far in almost two years is a graphics card that I RMA'd to them. Wasn't a problem and had the new one the next day. Other that that, pc works great. But I would still recommend building your own system, my next system that I'm going to have will be built by myself. But its personal choice.
