Hi guys
I had an msi gaming m7 motherboard rig
I built it myself a while ago
Other components are:
i7-6700k
GTX-980 ti
And one stick 8gb ddr4 Ram (Kingston DDR4-2133-KVR21N15D8/8)

Today I received 2x ( HyperX Savage 32GB (2 x 16GB) 288-Pin DDR4 SDRAM DDR4 2400 (PC4-19200) Desktop Memory Model HX424C14SBK2/32)

I shut down the pc, switched off power supply
Removed the single stick of ram ( which was in slot #2 by the way )

Then I put the new RAM in, first pack in slotss 2-4
Second pack in slots 1-3
When i started the pc
Nothing appears on the screen (no signal)
Note that the motherboard has a display of cpu temperature and boot state
It shows (32 cpu temp) then returns to letters and numbers as when booting
As if it is restarting itself
Any ideas please?
Thank you in advance

first of all have u tryed one stick at a time to see do they even work.
next i would suggest to try to reset CMOS by pulling out BIOS battery ~1min
and also check for a BIOS update

and what is ur mobo model?

bratShone that is very helpful
I downloaded the latest Bios
It is a zip file
Inside it I found a simple txt file and a .1B0 file
Shall I put the whole zip file or the extracted bios file on the usb?
And shall I flash bios while the pc is on??

Mixing ram can have issues even when they are identical. That's why it's recommended to buy a single kit where the sticks have been tested with each other. I have seen several instances where 2 identical kits would not play well with each other when mixed. Many times it will work just fine, sometimes it requires voltage and or timing tweaks to stabilize it and others they wont work together at all.

Thank you "bignastyid" and "Tradesman1"
I removed a kit from slots 1-3
2-4 are populated
It runs fine
But this is not good i need 64gb
Any idea why it would run with single kit but not with 2

As mentioned there are no guarantees when mixing sets of DRAM, even of the same identical model. You can pull sticks right off the assembly line and find they won't play. That's why sticks are tested together to find ones that will play before packaging
