So I got the water cooler from corsair (H80i gt ) and my mother board is an Asus m5A97 micro atx board, I got the radiator installed onto my PC but the heat sink brackets won't fit my motherboards stand off brackets. In other words I can't hold it down on my cpu because it goes a little farther than the stand offs. Is there something I'm doing wrong or missing? I've been up for hours trying to find a solution on my phone because I took my apart to put in the water cooler. It's an am3+ socket and it theoretically is supposed to fit. I'm stuck on this.

If I'm not wrong, the CPU comes with a 3 yrs warranty.
