New to building pc. I have a asus z97 1150 pro gamer mb. I7 4790k cpu. 970 sli evga gc. 850w power supply. Stock cpu fan.

Try leaving only CPU, CPU fan and single RAM module installed, both 24 and 8 pin power cables connected. Start the board and see if any signal on the monitor connected to the motherboard.

Im going to give this a shot ill let you know how it goes. Welll i tried it and nothing happened. Idk if the voard is reading the cpu fan or not. Thats my idea but im not too sure.

There was one bent pin but i thought i fixed it.
