SSD not being recognized

I have a dell e6400 with crucial m4 ssd, it was working fine until i swapped it out with a hdd for a day to test a different os, i put it back in and it gives me a no bootable devices error

Have you tried connecting the SSD to a 2nd PC to check whether the problem is in the Dell laptop or the Crucial M4 SSD?

I plugged it into my other pc and it gets recognized and starts up fine

I put it back in the dell and voila, it works
