1.5 volt safe for athlon x4 860K, can I go 4.8GHz ?

Hi.
I have my 860K running at 4.691 GHz, with 1.44 vcore.
Can I reach 4.8 with 1.5 vcore, Is that safe ?
I have whater cooler... kraken x60
CPU temp MAX 50 oC

It's maximum AMD lists but doesn't recommend. With appropriate cooling and MB it should be doable.

The higher you increase your voltage, the sooner your CPU will die.
But yes, it will probably work.

But no, you won't notice a significant performance difference when using the computer.

Nobody really knows how long it will last.
It may last a few weeks or months.
But if you are a bit more conservative with the overclock, it is likely to last a few years.

As long as it stays cool and stable it's unlikely that would shorten it's life.
