Computer GPU Blackscreen?

So, I have this Mini-PCIe to PCIe adapter for my laptop (Dell Inspiron N5010), but when I plug everything in there is just a black screen...the BIOS is the newest version for it, and everything is working. I plugged this into my Acer Aspire One D270 Netbook, and it worked fine (THAT LAPTOP KICKS BUTT WITH THE GPU XD).

So, what is the problem? I want to use a GTX 950 with it, but I have been using an ATI Radeon HD 4800 GPU. The PSU is 400w (the recommended wattage, and everything is connected correctly.)
Like I said, everything works because this setup works with a NETBOOK!

So if anybody can help me, please reply...I really don't want to use a 1.6GHz Processor with 1GB of RAM for gaming. :(

This has to be easy to fix. The adapter is one from Banggood, and BEFORE ANYONE SAYS, IT DOESN'T HAVE ENOUGH POWER...the GPU has an adapter for: 9V(Less Powerful) 6-pin(Alternate) and a 6+2 connector(Which I use).

Thanks!

I'd start with checking on the support site for the people who made the adapter to see what may cause compatibility issues with laptops. If it works on another system, it's clearly an issue between the laptop and the adapter.
