Hello everyone,

This build is around 2000 USD, but since I am from Norway it's going to cost me around 2500 USD for the same parts.. so yeah just making that clear...
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
So I have this build in my mind and before buying all the parts I was wondering about few things:
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
CPU: Intel Core i7-6700K 4.0GHz
CPU cooler: Noctua NH-D15 82.5 CFM
Memory: Corsair Vengeance LPX 16GB (2 x 8GB) DDR4-3000
Motherboard: Asus Z170 PRO GAMING ATX
Graphics: Asus GeForce GTX 980 Ti 6GB STRIX Video Card
PSU: EVGA 750W 80+ Gold
Storage: Samsung 850 EVO-Series 500GB 2.5"
Western Digital BLACK SERIES 1TB 3.5"
Case: Fractal Design Define R5 (Black)
Monitor: BenQ XL2430T 144Hz 24.0"

As I mentioned in the title, I am going for the Silent build. I am planning to OC CPU to around 4,6Ghz or 4,7Ghz, depends of how stable it will be. Since this is silent build I went for air cooler and my main question is:

-Is it possible to cool OverClocked 6700k with Noctua NH-D15 while PC is under heavy/gaming load and get good temperature (would prefer max 80C)?

I know I could go for AIO water cooler, but whole idea of having silent build would be kinda gone, sine most of them work on 20.0 - 37.0dbA (kraken x61 as example).
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Yes I know this build is "a bit" overkill for a 1080p gaming, but I will upgrade my monitor at some point in the future.

I know this may be stupid question, but I have tried to find answer for this already for a long time and people have so different temperatures that it's hard to understand what they are doing wrong/different.

Thanks for help.

Sorry for bad English, isn't my native language and I am trying my best :)

With Realbench stress testing I'm only reaching 64C at an overclock of 4.6. I'm only using one fan on the Noctua, too. Although I think the 6700K with its hyperthreading runs a bit hotter than the 6600K, generally Skylake runs cool. You shouldn't have any problem.
