Here are the specs, I've had this computer running for 3 months without any problem. I did upgrade the BIOS for future OC last month but didn't do anything yet except for setting my ram to XMP profile, which worked like a charm.

motherboard: Gigabyte z170x gaming 7
CPU: i7-6700k running stock
RAM: g.skills ripjaw 5 2x8G 2133mhz (was running at 3200mhz)
CPU cooler: NZXT Kraken x61
Graphics: GTX 970 Asus strix
PSU: EVGA Supernova 1000 G2

I was playing Overwatch yesterday when the game crashed and then the computer froze right after I sent the email to Blizzard. Now whenever I boot, the qcode gets stuck at 63 and there is not POST.

What I did: I removed the motherboard from the case, reset the CMOS, remove the ram sticks and the discret graphics. I tried to boot with the bare minimum and one stick, same result at each slot except once where it got stuck at 04. Now I'm wondering if the problem is the motherboard or the CPU and still wonder what the hell just happened.

EDIT: I forgot to specify that qcode 63 means CPU DXE initialization and what I found when I googled it is troubleshotting with the ram or plain RMA of the motherboard.

Thanks in advance for whoever will take the time to help me.

You could remove the CPU and inspect under a magnifying glass to see if any of the pins got bent/crushed. I'd also advise in trying to run the board with only the CPU with nothing else connected to see if you get any error codes/beeps. You can gradually add on ram and boot drive to see if any progress is made though I must ask, what is your OS? According to your motherboard manual did you populate one of your ram sticks on the far right DIMMS?

You should also keep Gigabyte/your seller in on the loop as that will be essential when you initiate an RMA procedure.
