I want to get a good GPU that can run Space Engineers at a good graphical quality, will this do the job; also will it fit my current motherboard? (PS: a GPU suggestions under £160 would be appreciated thx)

Any gpu will fit into any motherboard with at least one pcie lane so as long as the gpu fits into your case, it should work just fine.

However, there are some other things to take into account.
First of all, the gtx 750ti is quite an old card and you can get much better cards for £160. The sapphire nitro r9 380 might me just over budget but it is a much better card.
Secondly, your power supply (psu) must be powerful enough to supply power to the card. a setup with a r9 380 requires about 400-500 watts. A gtx 960 is is more energy efficient and it will work just fine with a 400 watt psu.
Lastly, you might want to wait another month until after pascals release. current gen gpus will get much cheaper and you'll be able to get any of the...
