Hi, I have the following specs:
AND Athlon II X4 640
Zotac GTX 950 2GB
8GB RAM
Windows 7
I am for some reason getting framerate dips below 30 FPS at minimum settings 1920x1080 resolution on Battlefield 4. Anyone have a solution to solve this?

Windows 8 pre-Geforce-360.xx drivers are proven to run the most stable with Battlefield 4. It has to be said that Win 10 is not the best OS for Battlefield 4 specifically right now. People report up to 30% frameloss in very specific areas on average. Siege of Shanghai one of the big culprits. Even high end systems suffer.

This, and how is your CPU usage?
Also, Windows 7 isn't good for Battlefield 4, I used to have drops all over the place with both my i5 2320 and 4690K with W7, Windows 10 runs it so much better.

Would Battlefield 1 fare better?

So which driver version should I use? My current one is the latest one with game-ready drivers for Battleborn I think. And for me I can only use either Windows 7 or format my drive and get Windows 10.

Yeah but clean install of Windows is a significantly longer process than removing GPU drivers. That's up to you really. Just make sure your temps are fine man that's way more important than everything else by a country mile. No confirmation if you checked it or not.

63 is fine. What about your gpu? Are you playing online? What's your power supply? What speeds are everything running at? Is vsync on? Ive never had any headaches playing this at 1440p online on either win 7 or 10 yet. Get a crash twice a month maybe
