I have tried to have two ethernet cables connected to my computer, 1 is giving the pc internet and the other is connected via usb ethernet adapter which is suppose to give my Rasberry Pi 2 model B internet.

Right now i have shared internet access from Ethernet 1 to the adapter but the Rasberry doesn't get any internet and i can't access any webpages.

The adapter is identified as an unindentified network with no network access.

Is this possible or do i need to get a wireless adapter for the rasberry?

The feature you want to use is called ICS and microsoft has excellent documentation on how to set it up. Some network drivers though do not have the support for ICS, they need to have a box you can check for sharing. A USB ethernet should, most the ones you see that do not are tethered phones.

If you have a ethernet cable coming to your PC why don't you buy a small switch and just plug the pc and rasberry into that to allow them to share the ethernet cable going back to the router.
