agreed, i returned my i7 6700k a few weeks ago and got the i5 6600k.. for normal tasks u will absolutely never see any difference. and certainly in gaming with dedicated gpu u willl be in good hands especially(fingers crossed) with the new pascals..

Hey,
If you have the budget for the i7, then why not get the i5 and put the difference towards a better GPU?
(or monitor if you have a 1366x768 monitor).
AMD also has a Polaris 11 GPU coming that may be a good alternative choice if you can wait.
