I'm looking for a ups but tbh, idk any of the good brands or anything special i should be looking for besides the basics. back up power for around 10 mins or so would be fine, just enough for me to notice the powers out an save anything and shutdown the pc, from what i could find out on the wattage calculators my system plus the accessory id have plugged into the ups would be around 750w give or take a few. If possible i would like the ups to have some high surge protection and around 8 or 10 outlets. Any help is appreciated ty.

The most important thing, to me, is to look for a pure sine wave output (not stepped, or approximated). Make sure it can cover your max load (750w), but the battery time on full load may need to be a bit flexible.

On power loss the alarm will go off and you can have notifications pop up so you can stop your work/game immediately and go into shutdown. 2-3 min is good for me, as the max load would be when rendering or gaming, and as long as I can save and shutdown....that's all I need. On many units it will also just do all of that for you (connected via USB) if the machine is unattended.....so not much to worry about.

Honestly I wouldn't budget for pure sine at 750w over about 4 minutes just because the price starts rising rather...
