Hi i'm going to be getting myself a GTX 1080 at the end of the month, I'm currently running a GTX 970 SLI setup, and i'm struggling to sell my EVGA Superclocked ACX 2.0's, so if worst comes to worst and I can't get any money for them then will it benefit me to dedicate a 970 to physx when my 1080 is on the rig? will it need a SLI bridge? and how much FPS will it help improve? is it worth it?

I'll be running it on a 4k Monitor @ 60hz

I have a GT730 dedicated to PhysX and it gets used only to 67% in Fallout 4 (with FleX, that's more demanding than regular PhysX).
So I think that 970 would be underutilized.

No SLI bridge, always good to have a powerful PhysiX card, FPS? Who the heck knows, theres not a single benchmark on the new cards yet. Is it worth it? If you can't get rid of them otherwise sure, but I would sell them sooner than later as their value is going to drop.
