Hi, I'd like to ask for help in upgrading my current PC
Short story: I have had my current custom build PC for almost 3 years now, and it is showing its age, I would like to upgrade it but I will need help with it as I have basic knowledge about PC, so I don't want to mess things up.

My Current PC components:
case: Zalman z77 plus
Mobo: Asrock z77 extreme 4
CPU: i5-2310
cooler: corsair h55
GPU: MSI gtx 770 2GB
RAM: 8gb corsair vengeance
SSD: Samsung 840 EVO 120GB
HDD: WD 1TB x2
PSU: cx750 (NOT modular biggest mistake)

I don't need to upgrade everything at once, but some parts I'd like to upgrade, biggest 3 are:
Case, CPU and MOBO.
I have selected the components new components but I want to make sure if it will be compatible or suggest a recommendation

For new components I have selected
Case: Phanteks EVOLV ATX
Mobo: ASRock Fatal1ty Z170 Gaming K4 (open for recommendation)
CPU: Open for recommendation

Reason for upgrade: Current build is not bad but nor is the best one, it is a budget PC, and it slowly shows its age, I'm mainly gaming on the PC, but with some programming and video editing/streaming on the side as well.

The questions I wanted to ask:
With the components that I want to upgrade (case, cpu and mobo) will they be compatible with my current build?
Do you have any recommendation?
Will the build be any good?

Thank you for reading and helping me.
:>

Well the case depends on ur taste, and the one u chose seems good looking and good for ur build, just make sure u put some good case fans for efficient airflow. The motherboard is no doubt a great consideration and it has also got "Tom's Hardware 2016 Editor Recommended Award", so go for it eyes closed, great for gaming, video rendering and other hardcore uses. As per as the CPU, go for a i5 or i7 sixth gen whichever suits ur budget, have a look in these two- http://ark.intel.com/products/88188/Intel-Core-i5-6600-Processor-6M-Cache-up-to-3_90-GHz OR http://ark.intel.com/products/88196/Intel-Core-i7-6700-Processor-8M-Cache-up-to-4_00-GHz. Hope that helps.

If going the Z170 mobo would go with a K model CPU as that's what the Z170 motherboards are positioned for. Doesn't make a lot of sense to spend the extra on Z170 and not get say a 6600K. If you go non-K, save some money and look at the H170 mobos
