I was recording some overwatch gameplay and I noticed that when I look over the video its studdering/ lagging. I thought it was just windows media player so I uploaded it and the uploaded video studdered as well.
In-game I'm not lagging at all I'm usually at 70 frames or higher. I recorded with shadowplay at 60 fps in 1080p 25 bitrate. Is it a cpu thing? I'm using an amd fx 6300. I don't know the source of the problem still. Help?

Example of what keeps happening https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0aPuwzRucWc

That time the framerate was at 50 fps. You might want to consider recording at 720p 60 or 1080p 30, or try lowering your settings when you record so you maintain a solid 60 fps. It also could be a storage bottleneck, so if you have multiple Harddrives record to one that you aren't running the game off of.

AMD CPUs are not that adequate for recording games to begin with, and though Shadowplay uses mainly your GPU it still takes some performance from the game. What GPU do you have? Also It says on the video your framerate is 48 hz, did you edit it or did you record in that framerate? Do you see the stuttering in game or is it only when you watch the video?

I have a Gtx 960 mini itx. My frame rate during the game was above 60 the entire as far as I know, I didn't see a drop or anything, the fps was in the top right corner. I recorded in 60fps, I only see the studdering when i watch the video.

I just looked over the uploaded video and checked the quality settings, I didn't even notice that. Do you think shadowplay is reducing the fps of the video? I also did some research saying I should turn Vsync on. Im going to that and record I'lle be back in 20.

I just recorded some gameplay and just from looking it over its still studdering. My fps was 59 to 60 the entire time. It only went below to 45 the second i pressed record. Also this was my worst game ever.

Video will be ready in 5 minutes
