Plug USB headset to Phone?

Solution

well then, the hyperx core will be a decent headset, a friend of mine bought one and it comes with the detachable mic and the 4pole headphone jack so the mic can be used in mobile devices and every other cable you could need, downside is (on my head anyway) it feels loose and doesnt block as much ambient sound as id like, it will work for car or bus trips but not on something like a plane, all in all its the best bang for buck headphones you could get at your price range

no, as the USB port also has a soundcard built in which is powered of the USB cable and a standard 3.5mm jack wouldnt provide enough power to run everything, on top of that it would drain your battery quickly. you can get the standard 3.5mm razer kraken for not much more (sometimes less depends on where you look) razer even have a kraken designed for phones called the kraken mobile.

Play online games. I am not that crazy for 7.1 surround and things like since my budget is pretty limited with being 60 euros if I stretch myself. But I would really like to remove mic when I am traveling somewhere so I can listen music on phone :)

I could get Roccat Kulo or Logitech g130 for less money but detachable mic really became important to me. My old generic headset was "solid" and I remember traveling everywhere with it and the freaking mic always iritated me.

Using a 3.5mm to USB A won't work, the 3.5mm can't carry that much power. However, there's an alternative, you can use Micro USB B to USB A female adapter or as known as OTG adapter, it might only work if your device supports OTG.
