I'm looking into buying a 3D printer and I have no idea what to look for.

My price max is about $500 USD, would go slightly higher if there is a great option there.

If you know of a good 3D printer, please leave a link, the name, and possibly what makes it good.

Unfortunately your current budget is very restrictive.

In any case, go online and find the User Guide/Manual for any 3D printer being considered. The instructions, warnings, troubleshooting information will provide you a deeper understanding of the product and the trade-offs to be made.

I am looking into Dremel's 3D printer product. Home Depot had one on display.....
