Its necessary to have same ram frequency as of processors FSB speed ?

I am using intel core 2 duo cpu it has 1066 Mhz FSB speed and Ram with 800 Mhz frequency.Its necessary that both must be same.If not then whether it has any impact on performance of system.

It doesn't have to be same speed as long as MB (chipset) allows it but would be nice although not very effective as that difference in frequency will amount for less than 1% of system performance as a whole.
